The fundamental purpose of this project is to remove some financial distractions from the pastoral household so focus can be placed all that much more on what they are called to do by God – minister. The purpose of this program is to address financial issues affecting ministry effectiveness among Nazarene pastors and churches in the state of Indiana. We expect permanent cultural change among local churches in support of their pastors and we will address four key goals to meet economic challenges faced by pastors and congregations. 

• The second goal is to help pastors focus on “wellness” issues to increase the quality and effectiveness of pastoral ministry and to provide direct health-care cost assistance grants to those who meet program requirements.
• The third goal is to conduct informed conversations about pastoral compensation issues and church health with every governing church board in order to create better compensation packages for local church pastors and healthier environments.
• The fourth goal is to provide financial aid to those pursuing the Masters of Arts in Pastoral leadership through ONU.
