The health and wellness of a church begins with the health and wellness of the pastor and their family. Due to the rising cost of health care many of our pastors are without health insurance or have inadequate coverage. Those who do have adequate health insurance usually access it through the employer of their spouse.

In some cases pastors take on part time jobs to gain access to affordable and adequate health insurance coverage.

Health and wellness focuses on the following objectives:

1. Access to personal health and wellness coaches and trainers to assist the pastor and spouse in making the lifestyle changes necessary to effect positive health and wellness outcomes in the area of nutrition and exercise

INCA’s health and wellness program is also here to assist pastors on a limited basis who have incurred large medical bills that result from catastrophic illness or medical emergency. There are also matching fund grants that can be applied for to assist Pastor’s in obtaining their physical and emotional wellness objectives.

Coaches and trainers are available to those that participate in a self administered Health Risk assessment provided through a mail kit from our serice provider.
